God's purpose for creating man (3)

iii. TO ALWAYS OBEY GOD
God created you so that in everything you will always obey Him. You are not created to disobey your creator. Are you obeying God?
“Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as mush as in obeying the voice of the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams”. I Samuel 15:22.
Do you know that you are created to obey God and not to debate with Him? God has never been satisfied with a disobedient man. Adam and Eve were sent out of the wonderfully and specially created beautiful Garden of Eden just because of disobedience. Genesis 3.
Know this, you can not disobey God and still be able to worship Him and represent Him on the surface of the earth.
Saul was dethroned as king because he disobeyed God. So, he was not fit again to represent God before the house of the Israelite. What a pity?
I Samuel 15:23.
Disobedience disqualifies you from fulfilling the other purposes of creating you.
Man was created to always obey God. This purpose is revealed in the first commandment given to Adam.
“And the Lord God commanded the man, you are free to eat any tree in the garden, but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. For when you eat of it you will surely die”. Genesis 2:16-17.
Here we see God’s first call for obedience from man. Are you obeying God? Disobedience does not only disqualify you from worshiping God and representing Him, it also brings curses and punishment. See how Paul puts it,
“What shall we say then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? God forbid!” Romans 6:1-2a [NIV & KJV]
